The property

Conroe Health Care Center is a 108-bed nonprofit skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Conroe, Texas, providing 24-hour nursing care, rehabilitation and support designed to help residents maintain independence and quality of life. When Paul Williams recognized the roof had reached the point where replacement was necessary, he called P91 Roofing to protect what matters most: the residents, caregivers and community beneath it.

The project

A full 40,000 sq ft pitched shingle roof replacement, designed for long-term performance and peace of mind. Timing mattered: P91 planned the project between Houston-area spring storms, worked efficiently and maintained a safe, tidy site with minimal disruption — particularly important for residents who value their outdoor time and daily routines. Reliable scheduling, careful jobsite management and attention to detail resulted in more than a completed roof. P91 was awarded the next property as well.

The P91 difference

A roof replacement is only as good as the details most people never notice. During the project, Carlos Sylvie identified worn fascia around the electrical areas. Rather than working around it, he replaced the deteriorated wood and repainted the area himself.

Then another problem surfaced. The building appeared to be missing proper soffit ventilation. Carlos did the forensic work to find out why, and eventually discovered the vents had been boarded over during a previous painting — eliminating their ability to ventilate the roof assembly and trapping heat and moisture where neither belongs. Carlos found it. Carlos fixed it. Mystery solved.

At roof penetrations and vents, the standard stayed simple: ensure 100% sealed. That level of care protects the roof system from trapped heat, moisture intrusion and premature deterioration.
